Advocacy Meeting With Special Assistant to Minister of Social Welfare Miss Sakeena Itoo

On 16th of May 2012 worthy Chairman of humanity welfare organization and project head of Humanity Welfare Organization HELPline met Special Assistant to Honorable Minister for Social Welfare, Government of Jammu and Kashmir – Dr. Ghulam Nabi Itoo and officer on special duty in Divisional commissioner Kashmir office Srinagar – Mr. Amir Ali. The meetings were organized to discuss policies framed for persons with disabilities and the implementation of Disability laws in the state. The Minister for Social Welfare and the Divisional Commissioner Kashmir were invited to join the Sports Festival going to be organized on 5th June 2012 at Dak Bungalow khanabal anantnag. The important issue of making public places accessible through JINDALS was also discussed. JINDALS Mumbai has proposed to make few places in Srinagar barrier free without any charges under Svayam project. Advocate Subash Chander Vashist of Dehli has been deputed as coordinator for the project by the JINDALS.
